Healing juice – 3 wonderful ingredients

Coconut

We have written about the wonderful properties of coconut many times. This fruit is a valuable source of many important nutrients for our body, hence it is often included in the group of so-called super food products.

Many of us mistakenly give up eating coconut in the belief that its white flesh contains a lot of fat. Yes, it is true. However, it should be noted that this fat is healthy and valuable for our body. In addition, this huge nut fantastically activates the metabolism and helps maintain a healthy body weight.

Coconut milk

Coconut is a valuable source of vitamins, minerals, healthy fatty acids and dietary fiber. At the same time, it has a strong antioxidant, diuretic, revitalizing and energizing effect.

However, not all of us know how to handle coconut. Below are some tips on how to make the most of all the valuable elements of this huge nut.

  • Open the coconut at the base of one of the poles and extract water that is valuable in minerals.
  • From the white flesh (professionally called endosperm), we can prepare coconut milk, and even – if we have time and will – prepare coconut “flour” from the drained “waste”, and then use it to bake cookies and sponge cakes.
  • In turn, a thick nut shell can be used as fuel for the grill or fireplace.

Ginger

Ginger is an exotic, spicy spice that has been used for thousands of years for the natural treatment of various diseases and ailments. While this root is recommended for everyone, it has exceptional benefits for women.

Like coconut, ginger root is also great at fighting excess fluid in your body’s tissues and boosting your metabolism – two key factors for women looking to get or stay lean.

What’s more, ginger has very strong antioxidant properties, thanks to which it effectively inhibits the damage caused by ubiquitous free radicals.

  • Undoubtedly, the most valuable for our body is fresh ginger – as an addition to various dishes, salads and cocktails. Its characteristic, slightly spicy taste will make your meals aromatic and – above all – very healthy.
  • Although you may find this surprising, ginger goes well with meat and fish. It also fantastically emphasizes the taste of soups, drinks and desserts.

Beetroot

Beetroot is a vegetable that should not be missing from any diet. There are many forms of its culinary use: raw, baked, boiled, fried …

This red tuber provides our body with many vitamins (A, B6 and C) and minerals (iron, phosphorus, zinc, potassium, copper), as well as vegetable protein and dietary fiber.

Beet juice

The beetroot has a slightly sweet taste and a dark purple color. Thanks to its taste, it is an excellent addition to various dishes, salads, juices and cocktails. In its raw form, this vegetable is a valuable source of natural energy, thanks to which it revives the body, adds vitality and helps to naturally fight fatigue.

What’s more, the ingredients contained in beetroot help reduce blood hypertension, soothe the developing inflammation in the body, show strong anti-cancer properties and perfectly cleanse the blood and liver of toxins and harmful substances.

Fresh revitalizing juice

Try to reach for this juice especially during periods of increased physical and intellectual effort. In addition, beetroot, coconut and ginger juice are a valuable source of nutrients that help fight excessive fatigue, stress and pregnancy-induced changes in well-being .

Ingredients

Using the ingredients listed below, we get 1 liter of juice.

  • 1 coconut
  • 1 beetroot
  • A piece of ginger root or a teaspoon of powdered ginger (to your taste)
  • 1 liter of water

Tip :  If you don’t have fresh coconut, you can use a liter of coconut milk instead of fruit and water.

A method of preparing

  • First, you need to prepare natural coconut milk. To do this, mix the white flesh of a coconut with a liter of warm water. Blend until you get a white, smooth, milk-like drink.
  • Then add to the resulting coconut milk, diced and peeled beetroot, and a piece of ginger (or ginger powder).
  • If you decide to use ready-made coconut milk, as in the case above, mix it with beetroot and ginger. However, there is no need to heat them.
  • The blended juice should have a light pink color and a uniform consistency without lumps.
  • Finally, pour the juice through a strainer. You can eat it both hot and cold. If you want, you can sweeten the drink with stevia or a little bee honey. However, remember not to overdo it, as the beetroot itself is a bit sweet.
  • For preventive purposes, you can reach for this juice at any time of the day, preferably between meals. However, if you want to take full advantage of its healing properties, the best time to eat it is in the morning – on an empty stomach. Try to drink fresh juice, do not keep it in the refrigerator for too long (maximum two days).
